Official rules

The Hidden Word Hunt, a DevPsyche × FygoOS giveaway. Last updated September 24, 2026.

No purchase necessary. Buying anything does not improve your chances. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.

1. Who runs it

The giveaway is run by DevPsyche, the YouTube channel @TheDevPsyche (“we”). The prizes are provided by FygoOS (Fygo), the sponsor of the video Your Life at Every Level of NAS. Questions: [email protected].

YouTube is not a sponsor of this giveaway and is not involved in running it. By taking part, you release YouTube (Google LLC) from any liability related to this giveaway.

2. Who can enter

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher. Open worldwide, except where this kind of giveaway is prohibited or restricted by law. People who work for DevPsyche or Fygo, and their households, can't win.

3. When it runs

The giveaway opens when the video is published on September 25, 2026. It ends on October 25, 2026 at 11:59 PM UTC, or as soon as all five keys have been claimed, whichever comes first. The giveaway page shows the exact times in your own time zone.

4. How to enter

  1. Watch Your Life at Every Level of NAS on the DevPsyche channel. Five words appear on screen at different points.
  2. Go to devpsyche.com/giveaway, confirm you meet these rules, and type a word. Capitals, spaces and punctuation are ignored.
  3. Each word unlocks one prize. The first correct submission of a word, as recorded by our server, wins that word's prize. The license key is shown on screen straight away.

Entering is free. You don't need to like, subscribe, comment or share to take part.

5. Limits and fair play

  • One prize per person. We limit each network to one prize, so a second claim from the same network is refused.
  • Repeated wrong guesses are temporarily limited.
  • Bots, scripts, automated or bulk guessing, or any attempt to tamper with the site are not allowed. We may cancel any prize won that way.
  • If a technical error causes a key to be shown to the wrong person, we may cancel that claim.

6. Prizes

Five (5) prizes, each a one-year FygoOS Plus license key, provided by Fygo. Approximate retail value: US$49 each (Fygo's price at the time of writing). Total approximate value: US$245.

  • Each key can be activated once, on one device. Activation needs a free Fygo account and an internet connection. Use of FygoOS is subject to Fygo's own license terms.
  • The license lasts one year, per Fygo's terms. When it ends, FygoOS keeps working on its free tier.
  • No cash alternative. We can't replace a key that has been shared, lost or activated by someone else, so copy yours somewhere safe.
  • Please activate your key within 7 days of finding it, then press “I've activated it” on the giveaway page. If a key still hasn't been activated after 7 days, we may work with Fygo to cancel it and put that word back into the hunt with a new key.
  • If a key doesn't work, email us and we'll work with Fygo to sort it out.
  • Winners are responsible for any taxes that apply to them.

7. YouTube Community Guidelines

Anything you post on YouTube about this giveaway, including comments, must follow the YouTube Community Guidelines. Entries connected to conduct that breaks them may be disqualified.

8. Privacy

We don't ask for your name, email or any account to enter. To stop abuse (one prize per person, limits on repeated guessing), our server stores a one-way hash of your IP address with each wrong guess and each claim. We can't turn that hash back into your IP address. These hashes are used only to run this giveaway and are deleted automatically within about 7 days after it ends. Our hosting provider, Netlify, processes standard technical request data to serve the site. The giveaway page saves a won key, and a random code that lets you mark it as activated, only in your own browser's local storage, so you can see it again later. We don't use cookies or trackers on this site.

9. Everything else

By entering you accept these rules. We may change or cancel the giveaway if something outside our control (for example fraud or a technical failure) stops it from running fairly, and will post any change on this page. To the extent the law allows, DevPsyche and Fygo aren't responsible for lost or failed submissions, network or server problems, or any issue arising from using a prize.
